EBITDA or Earnings Before Interest Tax Depreciation and Amortisation is a common measure of income on operations for a company. Unlike EBT or EBIT EBITDA is the earnings minus most expenses but not interest, taxation, depreciation or amortisation. As a result, the EBITDA figure is almost always a higher figure than that of the EBT or EBIT figures.
